Voting Information

Register to Vote -- To be eligible to vote in the Runoff Election on August 8, 2009 you must  register to vote with the Seminole Nation Election Board. Any enrolled member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma age 18 and over is eligible to register. You have until Monday, July 20, 2009 to register.

You may register in person at the Seminole Election Board Office located in the North Community Center at the Mekusukey Mission south and west of Seminole, Oklahoma (405-382-2324,0 or at the Tribal Enrollment Office located at the Tribal Complex south of Wewoka, Oklahoma (405-257-6287). You may also register by mail.

VotingYou may vote in person at any one of the following precincts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on election day:
Precinct #1 – Sasakwa Community Building           
Precinct #2 – Mekusukey Mission, North Community Building
Precinct #3 – Strother Community Building
Precinct #4 – Oklahoma City
Precinct #5 – Tulsa

You may also vote by Absentee Ballot. You can download a Seminole Nation Voter Absentee Ballot Request Form by clicking this link.

To be eligible to vote in the Run of Election on August 8, 2009,
a completed absentee ballot requests must be received
at the Seminole Nation Election Board Office
by the close of business on  July 20, 2009.
